As a Junior Software Engineer, you will join a collaborative engineering team where you will have the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals while contributing to the development of high-quality, scalable, and secure software.

You will work from our headquarters in Maldegem, Belgium or our office in Veenendaal, the Netherlands.

What will you do?

Your responsibilities include:

· Designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software features in our Dynamics 365F&O ERP solution

· Learning X++ and the Dynamics 365 development tools, supported by a dedicated buddy and an onboarding path

· Getting to know our ERP solution and the feed and food business processes it supports

· Participating in agile development teams and Scrum ceremonies

· Writing clean, maintainable, and secure code

· Developing and maintaining automated tests

· Participating in code reviews and learning engineering best practices

· Helping identify opportunities to improve software quality and performance

What are we looking for?

You have / you bring:

· A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

· A passion for software development and technology

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· A collaborative mindset and willingness to learn from others

· Good communication skills in a team environment

· Curiosity about how businesses actually operate — ERP is where software meets the real operations of a company

It's a plus if you have:

· Experience with programming projects through studies, internships, personal projects, or previous work

· Exposure to an object-oriented language such as C#, X++ — we will teach you X++

· Knowledge of relational databases and SQL

· Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365F&O, Azure, Azure DevOps or the Power Platform

· Interest in ERP or business software and it’s complex logistical processes

· You are eager to dive into AI-assisted development

· Curiosity about the food and feed industry — no prior sector knowledge required
