As a Medior Software Engineer, you will join a collaborative engineering team where you will have the opportunity to help evolve a platform that supports our customers. You will contribute throughout the product lifecycle, bringing sound technical judgement to discovery, solution design, implementation, testing and continuous improvement. You will work from our headquarters in Maldegem, Belgium or our office in Veenendaal, the Netherlands.

What will you do?

Your responsibilities include:

• Owning the design, development, testing and maintenance of software features in our Dynamics 365 F&O ERP solution

• Translating feed and food business processes — formulation, procurement, production, traceability, logistics — into robust ERP functionality that users can rely on

• Building and maintaining integrations between our ERP and surrounding systems using data entities, OData and APIs

• Contributing meaningfully to agile ceremonies and the overall health of your team's delivery

• Identifying and driving opportunities to improve software quality and performance

• Collaborating across product and engineering teams, including Business Analysts and functional consultants

What are we looking for?

You have / you bring:

· A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

· 3+ years of experience in software engineering, working on an ERP platform

· Development experience in X++, or a strong C#/.NET background and the ambition to master X++ quickly

· Understanding of the D365 F&O extension model — Chain of Command, event handlers, table and form extensions — and why we build without overlayering

· Experience with Azure DevOps: Git, build pipelines, deployable packages and work item flow

· The ability to read a business process and translate it into an ERP solution — you will talk to Business Analysts and consultants, not just to code.

· Proven ability to develop and maintain automated tests

· Ability to contribute effectively to code reviews and technical discussions

· Clear stakeholder communication and collaborative problem-solving

· A collaborative mindset and willingness to learn from others

· Good communication skills in a team environment
